About Dr. Diego L Ospina

Dr. Diego L. Ospina, DMD, is a passionate, board-certified general dentist at Designer Smiles in Orlando, Florida. Dr. Ospina is the founder of Designer Smiles, a practice where he provides comprehensive services to his patients, including robot-assisted dental implant surgery and sedation dentistry. 

Dr. Ospina graduated from the University of Florida College of Dentistry in 2003. He is the co-founder of The Institute of Volumetric Imaging, home to the most powerful cone-beam tomography unit available. His two main interests in his profession are serving patients, including phobic patients, with the latest and most current treatment modalities and providing mentorship to colleagues in the areas of surgery, implantology, and other complex treatments for patients. 

He is dedicated to improving diagnostic capabilities through high-quality imaging and comprehensive treatment planning for doctors of various specialties. Dr. Ospina has performed over 10,000 successful implant procedures to his credit. 

He is a Diplomate of the International Congress of Oral Implantology, a Fellow of the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology, and a member of the American Dental Association and the Florida Dental Association. 

On a personal note, Dr. Ospina is a loving and devoted husband and father to his two daughters and sons-in-law. He is an ex-professional soccer player and an avid Harley-Davidson rider. Dr. Ospina’s priorities in life are his faith, family, patients, and soccer!
